Hoplite Heroes is a registered 501(c)3 Nonprofit entity with the mission of providing accessible fun for youth through Role-Playing Games.

Geared towards 9 - 16 year olds, Hoplite Heroes focuses on encouraging youth to use their imagination, wit, and most importantly - to have fun!

We meet weekly on every Saturday Noon-4:00. Your adventurer(s) do not need any previous experience with Role-Playing Games (RPGS) to drop in on any Saturday. See below for Registration and Frequently Asked Questions.

Join an adventuring party and use your creativity, wit, and attitude to battle monsters and make new friends! Hoplite Games is proud to provide weekly fun and RPGS (Role Playing Games) to Heroes who are brand-new to Dungeons & Dragons, or those who have experience.

We highly encourage online RSVP/Registration so we know how many GMs to staff! Saturday Drop-In Sessions are $20 per Hero to be paid upon arrival in-store.

What should my Hero bring?

  • Dice (d6, d8, d20, two d10s, d12, and a d4)

  • Snacks, or money for snacks and drinks from our store. Unfortunately, we will no longer be providing snack tokens for Hoplite Heroes.

When should we arrive?

Arrive at Noon when our store opens.

Your Hero will be the first in! Please be patient as we unlock the doors. The fun will begin once most of the party has arrived. Pick up time is at 4:00. Please let us know if you are running late for pick up by calling the store phone number or messaging in the #hoplite-hh-chat Discord chat.

How much does it cost?

Each session is $20 to be paid upon arrival at the store at the register. While we encourage you to register your hero online, payment will be handled in store.

How can I communicate with Hoplite Games?

You can call us at our store number (517) 920-0678. The best way to stay informed about the status of Hoplite Heroes each week is to join our Discord and participate in the #hoplite-hh-chat where our GMs are messaging about the status of Hoplite Heroes.

What happened to the Hoplite Heroes membership?

We have elected to cancel the Hoplite Heroes membership for the 2026 year onward. All of our participants in Hoplite Heroes will be allotted the same awesome benefits! We hope to soon be able to provide miniature building and painting workshops for our Heroes, as well as other opportunities to make their RPGS experience even better. Cool stuff TBD!

Are there other opportunities for my Hero to participate?

Hoplite Heroes runs summer camps and winter break camps that are usually a week long, Monday thru Friday. During summer or winter camps we still host Saturday drop-ins that are separate from the camps and open to all.
